The month is almost gone....

I have always told myself that when you hear someone say "The time has just flown by" or "You mean it is ___ already?" that is was a sign of "old age".......well........I guess it is official....is July almost gone???

We have begun the work on the back of our house. The wind circles around our house all the time.....mainly because we live at the end of a street and it funnels down this way. So our back fence catches it and started looking like a snake.....all warped and wiggly looking.



We decided it was time to do something about it since the guys have been fixing the neighbors fences and that makes our's look worse. BUT.......there is always a but.........the retaining wall holding up the yard in the back is looking the same way!! The neighbor behind us mentioned we "might want to give it a look"........I couldn't believe he had been shoring it up for the past few years and never said anything to us....nice neighbors we have.....



We are now waiting on the insurance adjustor to let us know if they will help ......but the wall has to be replaced!! Since we aren't suppose to work on the wall until the insurance is settled......the Hubby decided that the part by my smoker could be .......so down came the fence....



...and on with the work!!!




Did I mention we had help?

Meantime...... time for a change on my golf cart...

.......and this just makes me smile........

In a few months we will change it to something more 'sport' or 'Fall' looking.....but until then........ I will be smiling.....
